InflaScore ("we", "us", or "the App") is a wellness and lifestyle tracking application for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the App and related website.

1. Information We Collect

InflaScore is designed as a local-first application. The types of information you may provide include:

  • Lifestyle records: meals and dietary choices, sleep duration and quality, physical activity, stress levels, supplement intake, hydration data, notes, and custom entries.
  • Profile information: display name and avatar.
  • App preferences: reminder settings, notification preferences, export settings, and display options.

We do not require account creation, login, or any form of user registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact information through the App itself.

2. Apple Health Data

If you choose to connect Apple Health, InflaScore may request permission to read selected Health data, such as sleep, workouts, exercise minutes, steps, active energy, distance, and related workout details. This data is used only to help populate your daily InflaScore logs and wellness summaries.

InflaScore may also request Health update permission so the App can save activity entries to Apple Health only when you choose to add them. You can grant or revoke Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely within the App for the following purposes:

  • Calculating your daily lifestyle score.
  • Displaying daily summaries, trends, and historical charts.
  • Helping populate sleep and workout logs from Apple Health when you grant permission.
  • Preparing exports that you request.
  • Enabling app features such as reminders and personalized settings.

We do not use your lifestyle records or Apple Health data for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

4. On-Device Storage

All your records are stored locally on your iOS device. Key points:

  • Your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export or share it.
  • We do not operate cloud servers, databases, or backend infrastructure that stores your personal wellness or Health logs.
  • If you use iCloud Backup, your app data may be included in your device's encrypted iCloud backup as part of Apple's standard backup process. This is managed by Apple and is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
  • Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data from that device. This action cannot be undone.

5. Exports

If you use export features, the App may create files that contain the information you selected for export. You control where exported files are saved or shared.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. InflaScore may receive purchase entitlement information from Apple to unlock Pro features, but we do not receive your full payment card details.

7. Third-Party Services

InflaScore integrates the following third-party services:

  • Apple Health: optional Health data access controlled by your iOS Health permissions.
  • Apple App Store: purchase and subscription processing for Pro features.
  • Google Fonts: the InflaScore website uses Google Fonts for typography. The iOS app itself does not use Google Fonts or connect to any external font service.

The App does not integrate advertising networks or social media trackers.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data, lifestyle logs, or Apple Health data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Since your logs are stored locally, we do not have access to your lifestyle records or scores.

9. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You may delete individual records or all data through the App's interface. When you uninstall InflaScore, locally stored data is removed from that device.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Because your logs are stored locally, you maintain control over them:

  • Access: you can view your data directly within the App.
  • Correction: you can edit or update records through the App.
  • Deletion: you can delete entries, clear data, or uninstall the App.
  • Export: you may export your data when export features are available.
  • Health permissions: you can grant or revoke Apple Health access in Apple Health or iOS Settings.
  • Notifications: you can enable or disable reminder notifications through the App or iOS Settings.

11. Children's Privacy

InflaScore is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Health and Medical Disclaimer

InflaScore is for wellness and lifestyle tracking only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not measure inflammation directly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
